The Vizrt TriCaster Prizm 8 SDI (2RU) is a professional 2RU live production system designed to provide a flexible combination of traditional SDI and modern IP-based production workflows.
With 8 SDI connections and extensive NDI connectivity, TriCaster Prizm 8 SDI allows production teams to integrate professional SDI cameras, switchers, playback systems and other broadcast equipment alongside network-connected NDI sources and destinations.
The system provides a powerful centralized environment for live video switching, multi-layer compositing, graphics, media playback, audio mixing, recording and streaming. Its hybrid SDI/IP architecture makes it suitable for broadcast facilities, live events, sports productions, corporate studios, educational institutions and houses of worship.
NDI networking enables video and audio sources to be transported over standard IP infrastructure, providing flexible routing and connectivity between cameras, production systems, monitors and other compatible network devices. The integrated SDI connections provide a convenient interface for equipment that remains part of a traditional baseband video workflow.
TriCaster Prizm includes advanced production tools such as LiveMatte chroma and luma keying, LiveSet virtual sets, DataLink data integration and macro-based production automation. Integrated recording and streaming capabilities allow productions to be captured and distributed directly from the production system.
PTZ camera control provides centralized management of compatible network-connected PTZ cameras, while integrated monitoring tools assist operators with video quality and production management.
Housed in a compact 2RU chassis, the TriCaster Prizm 8 SDI provides a scalable hybrid production platform for facilities combining SDI equipment with NDI and IP-based workflows.
