BirdDog P240 40X Full NDI PTZ Camera is a professional Full NDI PTZ camera designed for broadcast, live production, houses of worship, corporate AV, education and other demanding video applications.
The P240 combines an advanced 8.5MP Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor with a powerful 40x optical zoom, providing excellent image quality and extended reach for capturing presenters, performers, speakers and other subjects from a distance. Its enhanced low-light performance makes it well suited to challenging production environments.
The P240 provides simultaneous Full NDI, HDMI and 3G-SDI video outputs, giving system designers maximum flexibility when integrating the camera into NDI-based production systems, traditional SDI infrastructure or HDMI displays and equipment.
For professional audio applications, the camera provides balanced XLR audio input and output, with 48V phantom power available on the audio input through the appropriate breakout connection. Audio can also be carried through HDMI, SDI and NDI.
Advanced PTZ control is available through NDI Control, VISCA over IP, RS-232, RS-422 and PELCO-D, making the P240 compatible with a wide range of professional camera controllers and production systems.
The camera features 128 programmable presets, high-speed pan and tilt movement, image stabilization, an integrated OLED display, bi-colour tally indicators and flexible DC or PoE+ power. Its compact professional design makes it an excellent choice for permanent installations and mobile production environments.
